About Us

Once upon a time, there was a little girl and her Barbie dolls.  She dressed them, played with and styled their hair, and every doll body sported every other doll's head at some point ... of course.   When play was done, dolls and accessories were stored in a hollowed out hair dryer case her mother gave her.  Anyone familiar with these 1960's style cases knows them well.  They were perfect holders! 

The summer between junior and senior high school, she met the boy who was then (and still🩷) the love of her life.   They shared a love for antiques, frequenting antique shows and stores often.  Into 'adult life', they began seeing toys from their youth, and he always listened patiently to her remembrances of Barbie play.  In 2011 he decided to surprise her at Christmas with the first Barbie she ever had plus some accessories "to put it in"; The Sun Set Malibu Barbie, Country Camper, and first Townhouse.  That is when the dam broke...........

 What started was a collection in the corner of the living room, then into its own room, then the whole house.  Like many collectors, we began with one era, went backwards to Vintage (and before), and forward again.  Fast forward to today ... over 5,000 pieces, it would be unfair not to share it with fellow collectors.  Countless hours of research, delicate care, endless searrrrrching for that elusive finishing piece (we've all been there!), have turned it into a collection we are magnificently proud of and hope you enjoy.
